I think you will be surprised with Andrew Declercq> Here is how I see our
strengths & Weaknesses:

Knight - Excellent perimeter game for a big man can make the big man come
out to guard him leaving the inside open for Declercq & Walker on the
boards. Weaknesses, could get pounded inside and may be inefficient
defensively.

Walker/Declercq - 2 good young 4's with pretty good inside games and a lot
of mobility to run the court on the break. Both need to work on their
perimeter game, but are not afraid to hit the boards.

Mills/Bowen - Mills provides us with a quick defensive 3 with a real good
perimeter game that we really needed to keep defenses honest. Bowen ?
Maybe he can give us the same & will be a steal. Mercer can also play the
3.

Mercer/Brown/Minor/Barros - Mercer may provides that dynamic Grant Hill
type player but due to leaving early it will take a year or 2. We have a
lot of versatility here, but I expect 2 of Brown, Barros & Minor to be
gone. Defensive ability is a question mark that hopefully we can improve
and not get torched for 30-40 too often.

Billups/Edney - These are 2 real uptempo points Edney the quick small
penetrator, but a defensive liability due to his size, and Billups a bigger
more versatile player who with a consistent jumper could provide another
offensive threat. Once again, defense could be a question mark here.

All in all we have went from a slow non versatile team to a quick,
versatile, Pitino style running team that should be interesting.
