This is rediculous. Okay, so Garnett turned down an offer for 17 million a
year, but lets not blow this out of proportion by calling him things like
"moron". The truth is that some people (myself included) would call him a
moron if he ACCEPTED the offer. If he waits until he becomes a free agent,
other teams can make him offers. If other teams get into a bidding war, he
will most likely get what he is asking for, and he definitley won't get
less than the 17 million the T-Wolves offered unless he gets injured or
something.
So exactly how does turning down 17 million dollars for 20 million make one
a moron?
And although i hate to say it, this new salary he gets will set a new
standard as to the salaries of all other players. So next year when
Antoine turns down a similar offer please don't call him a moron.
