RE: Pitino

I thought I would respond to this post.  I am a Kentucky fan checking =
out this list to see what is being said about Pitino, the draft, etc. So =
maybe I have a little different perspective. =20

I always thought that the Celtics' job would be very tempting to Pitino =
and I also though that the challenge or rebuilding such a bad team =
(sorry) would actually attract him.  Obviously Pitino will never =
probably win as many NCAA titles as Wooden or NBA as Auerbach, so I =
thought his place=20
in history could be made by rebuilding the greatest NBA franchise from =
ground up to the championship, just as he did at Kentucky with the =
greatest college program.  Most people forget that the year he got there =
they were expected to win 6-8 games.  These two rebuilding jobs would =
cement his place in history.
