Thoughts Draft and Pitino

I have listened to everyone's opinion on what the Celtic's should do to get
on the right track and I have found them very interesting and I agree with
most of them. So now let me tell you what I think.

As for the situation with Bird and Pitino, I think we need them both very
badly and I don't know what I would do if Bird went to a different team.
Gaston better shell out the cash for them both if he wants to win and get
M.L out of the picture or to a smaller role.

I think Pitino is seriously considering going to the Celtics and if Bird is
hired as G.M. it is a done deal. Bird obviuoly is getting bored of
retirement and wants a bigger role and would like to stay with the Celtics.
Bird knows what he is doing and if Gaston dosnt't hire him, he is an idiot.
My predictions for next year are: Bird being hired as a big time role and
Pitino coaching. In the next couple of years there will be "A return to
Celtic Pride."

As for the draft nobody knows what pick we will get, but asuming we get #1
and somewhere around #5, here is my opinion on what we should do. Without a
doubt we get Duncan as #1. We would then have a front court of Dino,
Walker, and Duncan, and we would not want anymore big guys. There are a lot
of options from there and here are my next three top picks considering
Mercer and Van Horn to be gone. Tim Thomas(a great player, but might not
enter draft), Tracy McGrady(the best high school player in the draft, he is
a 6-8 G-F and I love him more and more as I hear people talk about him), and
Antonio Daniels(a point guard from Bowling Green which would fill a position
we really need help in). I am not interested in Foyle or Battie very much
and I don't think we need them.

There is also a possibility of trading for Vin Baker who grew up around
Boston and has said that he would love to play for the Celtics. I like
Baker a lot and we could trade Dino and someone else for him and have a
frontcourt of
Baker, Walker, and Duncan. Wow!

Those are my thoughts, please E-mail me with your comments. I would love to
hear them.
