As for Behind Blue Eyes, it is of course a classic, but for my part it's
probably *the* Who song I can do without hearing again...
I feel sort of the same about the overplayed version off of Who's next, but
the version from Lifehouse Chronicles is so different that it made me love it
once again. I've been into Lifehouse Chronicles again for a few weeks now and I
can't get past disk one.

For you drummers out there, try and do that "simple" beat to the song "Mary."
I found out it ain't. Pete did it. My son (who actually plays them) did it
too and said "Dad, you just have to not think about what your high hat is
doing and take care of the snare and bass pedal." I finally got it, but it was
tricky. The guitar on that song is so original. Pete was/is a genius and I
think he is capable of doing great things still. Why are the young so creative?
Maybe he will ask himself the same thing.

The version of BBE from the record plant (bonus tracks) on the WNDE is also
much better as well. Pete's voice sounds so good on that song.

It is a good thing that Fred Durst/Limp Bizkit is doing this song-and
releasing it as a single too! I'm eager to see the fan reaction from that generation.
