Shonen Knife

This may seem a bit off topic, but please bear with me... I have always liked 
Shonen Knife, ever since I saw them open for Nirvana in Dallas back in 1994 
(?).  I mean, what's not to like about 3 japanese girls who do cool Punk/Pop 
tunes and bow between songs?

Then, while randomly perusing some web-sites, I found this little blurb about 
them:

"Shonen Knife sound like what would have happened if the Ramones had grown up 
as three girls in Osaka, Japan. We also like them because they shamelessly 
plunder cool sounds from people like the Who. Their latest, "Birds and the 
B-Sides," features classics such as "Gomi Day" and an excellent Who-inspired cover 
of "Heatwave."

At last, it all makes sense....
