ROCK ICONS
Psychedelic High/Hard Rockin'/Guitar Gods

Warner Music Vision's special triple DVD set Rock
Icons, tops the release line up for June. Featuring
three of rock's most interesting movements from the
1950s to the 1980s in the form of Psychedelic High,
Guitar Gods and Hard Rockin'.

Psychedelic High - Captured for posterity at the
infamous Beat Club, the performances selected
represent some of the most mind-blowing music to be
created during that heady time when rock n' roll took
a leap out of the 50s. Now, music has gone where music
has never gone before.

Extended jams and thoughtful lyrics addressed social
issues like love and peace, exploring distant reaches
of the mind, while soaring to new and very 'far-out'
psychedelic highs.

Featuring Canned Heat, The Byrds, Moody Blues, The
Who, Manfred Mann, Thunderclap Newman and others.

Guitar Gods - During the 60s and 70s the legendary
Beat Club played host to the best bands of the time.
In this collection there are performances by many of
the greatest guitarists in rock, each with their own
distinct character and personality - Carlos Santana,
Jerry Garcia and Jeff Beck - Joe Walsh, Duane Eddy,
Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend and Jimi Hendrix. These
timeless moments of achievements are peak performances
of the Guitar Gods.

Hard Rockin' - With the British Invasion of the
mid-80s rock n' roll underwent a transformation,
becoming deeper, richer and harder. Fuelled by major
technological advances, bands were able to amp up the
power and rock the house to its very foundation. Many
of the best played the Beat Club, performing signature
songs. This DVD features the Californian rock of PG&F,
Steppenwolf and The Byrds, the dark side of Alice
Cooper and Black Sabbath, plus the brute strength of
Spencer Davis and Deep Purple.
