I don't think so, but maybe John did "Boris" in Japanese when he was on
tour 
with Ringo.  At least they were joking about it.>>

I dunno about Ringo, but when John was on tour in Japan with The Best, he
sang "Boris the kumo" once, but then went back to "spider."  I think that
was the extent of his fluency.  :-)
