Bono tops fantasy rock band poll

Radio listeners have voted Bono the star they would
most like to see in a line-up of the greatest rock
band ever.

A poll by BBC radio station 6 Music also put two of
the world's late wildmen - guitarist Jimi Hendrix and
drummer Keith Moon - into the band. 

Some 21,000 listeners also plumped for Bez, from the
Happy Mondays, Red Hot Chili Peppers star Flea and
Coldplay's Chris Martin. 

The fantasy line-up was drawn up, after three weeks of
voting, to mark the digital radio station's first
birthday.
