Only if we knew what it was like living in a single star system before. ;-)

Ironically, most stars *are* part of a double star system. Or triple &
beyond. Single star systems like our solar system aren't the norm.

But, it's hard for formed planets to remain in a stable orbit in a double
star system. Gravitational effects caused by the two stars usually end up
rudely chucking most planets out into empty space. Not fun.

But "Nightfall" isn't total fiction. There are "zones" in a double star
system where planets could exist in a stable orbit for long periods.
