Re: Pete to infinity

>Pete is a decent man. He spoke the truth to power.
He was true to his word. He knows how to touch my
heart. I'm with him.

Ken:

That's exactly how I feel about it. This man cannot be what they want to paint him as being.

>Ha. Surely your opinion is what it is, but I think it is a little more
important than that!

Jon:

Nope. It's a nonissue. And nothing has emerged to make me even waver a bit on his innocence.

> It's Mark's fault. He won't let the subject die. How many times
does he have to tell us this isn't an issue with him? Sheesh.

Scott:

You going to blame me for world hunger next?

> has anyone noticed that the line in the song "remember me to one who
lives there, she was once a true love of mine" was used in a simon and
garfunkel song, "scarborough fair"?

Joel:

North Country Girl is an old folk song, and S&G (like most folk bands) often "borrowed" from the standards just as Rock bands often borrow from Blues songs. BTW, I think Pete's version of NCG is the best of the many I've heard. I love the martial quality it has.
