Psychoderelict interview

>From an interview conducted, it appears, in June 1993
on the release of Psychoderelict. Posted in 2000 on
Guitar.com and still available there.

My reaction to it is that Pete is being Pete and his
remarks are tongue-in-cheek. Let's not disseminate
this to the wrong people, though, as taken out of
context it probably takes the prize for stupid things
to say:

Guitar.com: In Psychoderelict, some of the important
twists of the plot take place in "grid-life," a kind
of digital universe the characters access through
computer-controlled suits. Do you cruise the internet?

Townshend: Oh sure, yeah. I have sex on computer all
the time. I'm into putting my head on females' bodies
and all kinds of stuff. Out on the bulletin board I
can wear whatever I like. Writers' can't catch me
there. Well, the fact of the matter is that because
the network is a network, everybody can catch anybody.
Everybody knows what everybody else is doing.
