I seem to remember Stern getting all pissy when his personal life was
splayed across the media during his divorce...

And a few years ago, when searching for a code to open a program (often called "cracks"), I was sent to a site which was...uh...a different kind of crack than I was looking for, let's put it that way. Yeah, it's easy to believe Pete stumbled on something.

Hell, I've come across all sorts of eye-popping sites when Googling
much more innocent things than cracks <g>. Try doing a search on any
current celebrity and see what comes up in the list.

The porn sites also use tricks like putting non-relevant keywords in
the meta tags so that someone searching for sites on, for example,
Iraq or politics or some TV show will get the porn sites in the search
list.

As for email spams, my favorites are the ones which promise to
lengthen a piece of anatomy that I -- a female -- just don't have, and
the Nigerian guy who wants me to help him get tens of millions of
dollars out of the country. :-)
