Onderwerp: Pete arrested (heard at 3pm Boston time)

I am BUMMING!!!
Am giving Pete the benefit of the doubt for now,but...
supposedly he's charged with possesion of kiddie porn,
making images of kiddie porn, and intention to distribute
kiddie porn.

I am hoping this is all a terrible mistake.....
I work with computers a lot. If you go to a web site, and view a picture
the picture is transferred to your hard disk in a temporary area. While
not a conscious download, it still remains on your hard disk until it becomes
old enough to be purged off to make room for more current files.

Since Pete wrote "A Different Bomb" using and Adobe Akrobat authoring
tool, he probably has photoshop too. Photoshop is used to create, enhance
and view image files. Like most desktop software, it logs what files where
loaded/viewed. This is probably why Pete has been arrested. After all he
is probably holding evidence that can be used against him if they suspect
that his intent is sinister. I'm hoping that the arrest was simply routine, and
not because they really think he intends to distribute this material.

It is really unfortunate that such a curious character as Pete with apparently
honest and noble intentions can be trapped like this. How does one do
research on this material without being guilty by association?

When the detective dips his wet pinky in the bag of white powder to check
the purity of the coke, what taste is he looking for, and how does he come
to know this without breaking a law himself?
