True, but Gary Glitter was a blip on the radar in what was it, 1972?  I
don't profess to know everything about music, but I couldn't tell you one
song he's done other than that annoying hockey goal song with the
exquistite lyrics - "Hey!".  And other than Quad (in which he was awful in
and busted up Roger's eye), what had he done since? 

My point is that since 1965 Pete hasn't been able to take a whiz without
people following his every move.  Surely there would have been whispers, no?

No, I am not Oliver Stone.

I was simply stating (obviously not well) that there was really no news on
Gary Glitter until it all broke.  The point was made in the original email
(below) that there has been nothing on Pete prior to this.  I was just
making the point that the same was the case for Gary Glitter.

I am not accusing Pete.  I do not know.  But, just because there had been
nothing prior, does not mean full innocence.
