No offense to those who like this one, but you absolutely can't hear the vocals at all.  For example, on the Mtn View CD, you can really hear the added harmony of Simon with Pete right from the opening number.  I actually loved hearing Pete and Simon carry the Who Are You backing vocals rather than hearing that pre-recorded stuff they had been using before John died.  Irvine CD it is nearly inaudible.  If vocals are important to you at all, don't get Irvine.
