Pete's Greatest Guitar Moments

I think the full "My Generation" from LAL has to rank up there. He covers
the entire spectrum; from soft & subtle to loud & raunchy. And apart from
his edited-out mistake, "Young Man Blues" from this show has to be consid-
ered, as well.

What about that acoustic "Drowned" from the Secret Policeman's Ball? That's
quite a performance. His strumming is amazing on that one.

I've also always been partial to his solo on "My Generation" from the '73
King Biscuit/TALES FROM THE WHO show. A little sloppy but he hits all the
right notes.

Gosh, what else? "Melancholia." "Overture." "Punk Meets the Godfather."
"I'm One." "In A Hand Or A Face." "Imagine A Man."

There are just too many. Like Entwistle, Pete was almost constantly bril-
liant. So brilliant that one tends to start overlooking individual perform-
ances. There is no "bad" to juxtapose against the "good."
