He doesn't like The Who. I've heard him say it. He doesn't like their music. He may have said they put on a good show at the concert for NY, but that was about it. He was gloating when Pete got in trouble. A lot. I think he's jealous of anyone who's got talent and respect. Plus, Pete didn't give Stern the time of day at the concert for NY, so Stern probably copped an attitude from that. Pete just said hi and spoke to Stern's girlfriend Beth. At least that's what I heard on Stern.

That's not exactly correct.  The Who aren't one of Howard's favorites
(like the Beatles or Zeppelin) but he does like much of their music
& was very complimentary towards them when he saw one of the MSG shows
in 2000, saying that, for older rock musicians, they could "still play."
