Are you saying he didn't sound great at Shoreline?  I was there, and I thought he sounded incredible.  I am an amateur vocalist and I particularly listen to Roger with an objective mind.  For example, his voice wasn't great at Sacramento, or for the first half of the Gorge gig, or first 60% of Dallas show.  I also loved the CFNY performance (on video, CD, and being in attendance) but noted here on IGTC that he struggled some, especially after BOR.  Even AEB gave him mad props for the Irvine show, and he would be the first one around here to tell the truth about Daltrey.
