I'm with you Mark.

Neil, I re-read your post again yesterday. It summs up many of my feelings
and fears at the moment. A really good piece of analysis.
Highly recommend all to read this again.

I'd have to agree with you, but would put WN as a *VERY* close second.
Ohhhhhhh what Lifehouse could have been..............

I thought about their stage career too, but really, that part of their
legacy ended shortly before Moon's death. While they've made much ground on
this with the past 2 tours, I don't think it's repaired the lost ground of
the post Moon tours. Also, most aren't old enough to remember the early
ground-shaking stage performances.

>2. What is your fondest, personal memory dealing with The Who?

Ooooo, Ooooooo!
Repetitive eye contact with Roger at Camden 2000 from the pit as Stu and I
gave him energy and motivation. He saw us (how could you not? We're tall,
and were pogoeing), he knew we were giving it to him, and when he needed it,
he knew where to look for it. Also, seeing Pete look over at us to see what
Roger was feeding on. Pete really does get a bit jealous if Roger is
stealing some of the limelight.
That's some good Who-juice.

Also, meeting John and having a photo with him at my local pub Higher Ground
here in VT last spring. Standing 3 ft. in front of John as he played and
sang Heaven and Hell perfectly.
Pure Heaven.

>to meet in the past 3 years? Hmmmmm....that's a toughie.

*That's* been a pure joy. Always is.

I hope I contributed to that blurrr! ;-)
Did I?
Yes, I believe we saw Robert together.

That was my favorite moment of Boston II. His machine gunning with a full
shuffle and sweep across stage was unprecedented (I believe). He usually
just pivots.
Magic's "antics" usually do spur Pete on. That night, it was dicey. Pete
was genuinely annoyed. Granted, not as much as Roger, but I feared that a
line was crossed.
Pete machine gunning kind of told me he took it in the spirit it was
intended.
But.......it was close!

And this is *EXACTLY* why marijuana should be legalized for medical use
(well, all the time really, but first things first).
But, in the end, for Kurt, it didn't help enough.
