Subject: The encore cd's- GET THEM

Hello, Alla Y'all

I am into this Toronto cd at the moment and have heard it several times.
It
is very LOUD. The intensity is incredible throughout. I have thoroughly
enjoyed Detroit and Grand Rapids, but this one is up a notch. I was not at
this show, but I wish that I was now. There are new things in this show.
Same set list, but Pete plays part of a different song in MG just before he
does his launch near the end. Then does another extended WGFA (always a
good
sign) that is different from any other time. Zak and Pino followed right
with him (an even better sign).

All the shows have their own flavor. I thought that I would get sick of
hearing the same set list, but I was wrong. There are enough differences
(Stage banter. Different little jams, and TKAA "free styling" ) to keep me
checking back to them. This group is not Rush.

I have a musician friend that loves Rush (I like rush-the band) because
they
are so powerful live and are great musicians. Note perfect. He saw them
this
summer and was beaming about how perfect their sound was. Then I played a
few of The Who's "mistakes" for him on the Grand Rapids cd. He got the
point. Then I played the part on TKAA that Pete made up as he sang. He was
very touched. This band has something special. They are not mere
musicians.
He did say Zak was incredible and that is something coming from a Rush fan.
