Re: Big Country Remasters & relationship to The Who

Rich,

Butler & Brzezecki also played in a band with Simon Townshend in the late
70's/early 80's called "On the Air". To me they sound like The Jam a bit.
They also played on Roger's "Under A Raging Moon" album (along with Bruce
Watson of BC). Big Country were also the opening band when Roger played
MSG on 12/9/85 as a solo act.

By the way, those remasters have been on the market since 1996...their
first 5 albums were remastered with bonus tracks. Since Adamson's death
late last year there has been renewed interest in the band (to an extent)
and there should be some forthcoming releases (there were a plethora of
them in 2000 & 2001).

For more info about "On the Air", Big Country remasters or the Stuart
Adamson Memorial concert 5/31 in Glasgow) go to www.trackrecords.tv or
www.bigcountry.co.uk

Cheers,

Les
