An antique was not an antique when originally sold retail. It is age,
authenticity, and rarity which causes it to appreciate in value. Same is
true of rare comics and other collectibles. Who tix only appreciate because
brokers buy many of the best seats and jack up the price. It takes generally
years for most collectibles to appreciate- which is what separates that from
ticket brokers.
