I agree that there are a couple of Blues influenced songs in the OBWAT 
soundtrack, but only a couple.  If you're familiar with the particular Blues 
and Irish chord progressions, you can identify the influence.

Blues picked up some of the characteristics of white Gospel, and added the 
African influence.  African influenced Gospel has evolved into Rhythm and 
Blues and hiphop and etc., but white Gospel still remains in a fairly pure 
form.  It has a much different sound from "spirituals" that were precursors 
of the Blues.

Sure, and fans can live without Who tix, too.  They just don't want to, and 
thus the high prices cause some excitement.
