Re: The name game & new album speculation

I was under the impression (false impression as it turns out) that we were
finished with the name-calling.

Mc:

Whose name was called? Buck's? I generally address the person I'm speaking to, like I did above with you. Is there something wrong with that, all of a sudden?

Ash(cough)croft! Excuse me. Frog in my throat.

I wonder now if a live document of this tour will emerge after all is said and done. As for a new album, I'd say the ONLY way is if John had recorded some tracks before the tour. I can see a package with perhaps some rehearsal tracks and practicing any songs destined for the recording Fall recording sessions. More likely, to me, is a Christmas-timeframe issue of some sort of Odds And Sods collection of yet unreleased songs, maybe with some live recordings, revolving around John and his performance. Like the bass solo version of 5:15, still officially unreleased (unless you count the Albert Hall DVD). This would, IMHO, be a welcome thing. The oft proposed live boxed set would also be more than welcome, given that John was such an intregal part of the live sound. Now is the time for such an issue, now more than ever.
