This was in the Washington Post today if no-one has seen it:

Is it just me or does it seem bizarre that the Who are going ahead with
their tour just one week after John Entwistle died? Is it really that easy
to replace a bassist? If it had been Pete Townshend or Roger Daltrey who
died, it's a pretty safe bet the tour would have been canceled. But maybe
Entwistle's death will lead to the inevitable joining of the remaining Who
members with the surviving Beatles. The Whotles would be sure to sell out a
few halls. Absent of that, you'll have to travel to see what's left of the
Who. The half-band still has no plans for area shows.
