quick autowest review

Least of the first 3 shows, but still great. Pete was a bit more subdued
with jumping, but still worked his ass off. Focused more on passion and
skill tonite than showmanship. It was all still there, the windmills, etc,
but not the fire of the shoreline show (but how could it be?). Roger's voice
was damn good, again, but he had a couple of rough spots. This is to be
expected w/back-to-back shows. If anyone has seen the power and effort roger
is singing with right now, you'd understand. Zak great as always, and
pino's, john's bass solo was the best so far, and i thought overall this was
by far his best performance. He's loosening up. I kind of like his head-bob
as he stays with the beat. I guess evidence of john's greatness is that he
never had to tap or sway or bounce to keep rhythm... it was just part of him,
i guess. Overall the performance was about what i expected for a third
performance after the emotion of the past week, but the band certainly didn't
short change anyone. The effort was great. Thank you WHO!!!! Just as Keith
is present in the drumming in nearly all Who songs, John's bass lines are
present in ALL who songs. One of the reasons the songs can sound so great
even w/o john is how great his original bass lines were in all those songs.
