Dutch Memorial Meeting / Toronto

Hi,

About ten people gathered in a bar in Utrecht yesterday ("Stairway to Heaven") to reminisc John. It was very good for me to be able to talk again in a crowd of people that don't talk about anything else but The Who. This is WHO-family where you can share your stuff with. Nobody else really can grab our emotions about this... He was not "just a guy in a band". He was our hero and a super-duper-star.
Some people I saw for the first time. It was great meeting them and just sharing our feelings (and kill a few brain cells).

They played John's songs, and we shared stories we had. Some great stories. I just am really glad I had all these adventures with The Who, and sad that that probably will be over now... But like Pete said at the beginning of Lifehouse;

"And as ever, the sun rises..."

Unfortunatly, I found out I won't be possible to make it to the Dallas show after all (of the little obligations I always have). So who's going to go with me to the very last concert at Toronto? I'll try and see if I'll be able to make it to that one (probably am able to)... This might be a farewell that might really be the end of The Who.

I'm still sad and upset... But respect The Who for whatever they do. John had my unconditional love, and so do Pete and Roger. What we also said yesterday, whatever choice they make to continue the tour or cancel the tour, they're gonna get shit either way. And aslike Roger said, the music can lift me out of my sadness.

Love,

Bjorn
