Re: January Q

In a bit of an about turn from the paucity of Who related info in
British rock magazines lately (most have been filling their pages with
George Harrison tributes), Q has a number of features concurring the
'orrible 'OO.

First up, in their "50 most exciting tunes ever" feature, I can't
Explain crashes in at number 24 and Keith appears to get top spot as
Rock's most excitable timekeeper.

The top 10 for those interested are

10	Jumping Jack Flash
 9	White Riot
8	Rock 'n roll star (oasis)
7	Get up (sex machine) (James Brown)
 6	Lust for life
 5	Smells like teen spirit
 4	A hard day's night
3	Rebel without a pause	(public enemy)
 2	Firestarter (prodigy)
 1	God save the Queen

There's a photo feature starring Roger Daltrey, with Roger's commentary
on a number of photos of himself; the main one is Roger in rock god pose
at the RAH concert in 1968.

There's an article about the drug speed, with a number of references to
Keith and the Who's use of drugs; and finally a review of the Dougal
Butler's recent photobiog of Keith which is most complimentary.

Cheers,

John
