Grammy wrap

I'm watching the Grammy wrap-up on VH1, and Nelly Furtado says the biggest
pop hits are often the quickest written. Is she right? Does anybody know
of a song that somebody slaved over for months that turned out to be a hit?
Is it inspiration that makes the best songs?

In other news, Pete's favorites Destiny's Child got something, as did U2.
Album of the year went to O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU, which they (mistakenly)
are calling bluegrass. Most of that is white gospel (which has entered into
arguments here). Cheryl Crow apparently wore the most notable nothing much
this year. More news as it develops. ;)
