It's not a g-damn pastime, for god's sake! If it has to relate to anything,
maybe it's the instrument smashing. Rather than attack each other or members
of the audience with the rage they used to create such dramatic live
performances, the who simply channeled that into their instruments from time
to time. I guess rather than hitting someone else and strating a fight, i
just get someone to hit me and shake their hand. Problem with the parallel
is that i don't feel any anger at all when i'm drunk. I virtually can't be
made angry and actually keep a lot of my friends out of fights. I am as
happy a drunk as they come. And to the person who questioned why people were
willing to hit me- it has nothing to do with me pissing them off or being
disliked. It's always people who are either friends of mine, people i know
and are friendly with, or people i just met who i like. They know i don't
get hurt so it's no biggie. I can't really find a good comparison with Who
themes. What i do is not self-destructive.
