faith, trust and magic

From: "Scott Schrade" <schrade@akrobiz.com>
"The magic of The Who is the coming together & playing of TED.
*That's* what's been getting us off all these years. The Who are great
at making Who music - not blindly grappling with musical genres."

Very well said, sir.
That is what has been getting me off, and the lack of it led me away from
the band. It is so hard to capture this on record, this essential Who
element. It is difficult for most punters to 'get it', even at a show. It
takes an extra effort from the audience to understand this.

I'll take a quote from a *great* movie I saw yesterday:
"A little faith, a little trust, a little bit of pixie dust and you can
fly." The Who can fly if they put these things together. The pixie dust is
granted; it is in their blood.

Jeff
PS. The movie was "Return to Neverland". Awesome.
