Re: Who vs Kiss; a little creepy crawly Manson in the night; no Southern dates

Jim:

Hard to call trying to do what's good for the majority of the people
"selfish."

> Ah!!! Sacrilige!!! Don't EVER compare the Democrats to The Who again!!!!

I will, of course. As I said, being liberal means having an open mind (check
the dictionary), which certainly applies to The Who. Associating themselves
with the working man (and how many times is the Who described as a "working
class band?"), the long range thinking...it's not a perfect analogy, because
Kiss isn't QUITE as bad as the Micropublican party, but it worked for the
moment.

You mind goes to strange places, did anyone ever tell you that?

Ah, see, a miscalculation. I'm for the death penalty...I'm just not
inconsistant (hypocritical) enough to claim the sanctity of life to end
abortion at the same time. I think Manson should have been put to death.

A really good book book with an insiders view of the Family pre-murder is:
My Life With Charles Manson by Paul Watkins. There's also a documentary
called Manson I've read about but never seen, if some kind soul happens to
have or know where to get a copy...please let me know.

The only thing I can think of is George's refusal to have Piggies quoted in
the book Helter Skelter. The Beatles also would not let them use their music
in the movie of said book, so they had a generic band perform the songs.

Brian:

I hope that's not the ENTIRE listing, as I notice no southern dates. If it
is, I guess I'll be seeing some of you in Boston.

Well, well. And I wonder what he means by "longtime fans know?" Know they
won't record? Know they won't put out rubbish?

> Shoot. Didn't they used to stop in Atlanta?

Keets:

Miami, Raleigh, Charlotte...coming to Boston?

Kevin Mc:

Yeah? What happened to Bacchas, Comus and Rex? See, this is why I don't go
anymore.

Jeez, one thing I loved about the Mardi Gras was all those people drunk and
little if any violence.

Extremely doubtful. You get Harry Connick Jr. instead.

Even the Neville Brothers and/or Dr. John wouldn't do it...
