The Who in Brazil??? I doubt...

Brazilian portal IG says that, among others, The Who is a possible name
for a festival in Brazil. Read it here (in Portuguese):
http://ultimosegundo.ig.com.br/useg/cultura/artigo/0,,671148,00.html.

The article says that the company wich owns Kaiser, a brazilian beer
brand, is to invest some R$180.000.000,00 (something like
US$75,000,000.00) in festivals. Roger Waters of Pink Floyd is the only
international star confirmed, but a poll revealed that the brazilian
audience expects "Aerosmith, Oasis, Kansas, Billy Joel, Lenny Kravitz,
Jimmy Page, Joe Cocker, Limp Bizkit, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Santana,
Sting, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, UB40, Yes, Duran Duran and The Who".

Aerosmith, Oasis, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Page, Joe Cocker, Limp Bizkit,
Pearl Jam, Santana, Sting, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, UB40, Yes, Duran
Duran have already toured down here. Only Radiohead, Kansas, Billy Joel
and The Who have not come YET (I hope!).

Different for anyone. For me, rock (and especially live WHO) is more
like a
religion. I don't go to church, but I do go to rock concerts. ;-) (so I
guess I'm gonna be alright after all)

Long live rock,
