Disappointment with The Who, A Wack-a-doo & Progression VS regression

Wow, with this and your other endless blathering response, I see I've wounded you to the core. Too bad you're so sensitive, but maybe one day you'll understand you cannot attack someone without consequence. If you think I'm an asshole, as you claim, one would think you wouldn't take it so personally, like why should you care what I think...it can only mean there's a lot of truth in what I've said.

One thing you can be absolutely sure of...I don't lie. I don't need to. You cannot point to a single lie I've written or said. I don't dislike you, Jim. I think you're a mental case (or as we used to call them: Wack-a-doos), but I don't dislike you. On the other hand, you're not going to get away with attacking me, ever. Ain't gonna happen. Deal with it. It's reality. You can try to squirm out of what I have said, but it's in fact you who is attempting to manipulate the words by saying I am. I merely manipulated you, because you asked for it. Don't attack me and you're as safe as milk, from me anyway.

I suppose as a fellow Texan you feel you must support him...but YES, Bush is responsible for this shit economy and meaningless war we find ourselves in. I'm sorry that makes you uncomfortable, but as a businessowner I am feeling the effects more and more every day. I am not going to pretend I'm happy about it.

I like Mark.  I have always found him to be a kind and honest "you get 
what you see" kind of guy.

As you say, you needn't defend me...nor I you...but we were both singled out by Jim as some sort of list monitors or something. With no basis in reality, I might add. Which I why (and the only reason why) I mentioned you at all. Yes, I am what I am online and in person, exactly...as those who have met me can testify, even Alan if he cares to admit it.

I took it to heart, and as an opportunity to see where I
could....ummm....improve?

Some people see only fear, pain and anger...and pit themselves again those who would be progressive...some try to move forward and be positive, as we (and many others on this list) do. This thing, this urge to progress, is something I've always found in Townshend's songs. Again I have to wonder how any Who fan can be regressive, but I have to accept the evidence of my eyes. Whether I like it or not. You're going to improve, yes, because you are trying to. You'll be a hell of a Dad in a few days, too. Remember, as Baba said, we're all sparks off the cosmic wheel.
