Some other thoughts

I'm sure this is going to happen for me throughout the day...

I was happy to hear the Quad songs, especially the very beautiful Sea and
Sand, but for some reason I think the three-song set slows down the pacing
of the show. First off, Sea And Sand was DEFINITELY the "pee break" number
for most of the floor section. People were leaving in DROVES during that
number. What a shame because it's a great song, and good for them for
playing it.

5:15 was never a favorite of mine, until you-know-who started playing
you-know-what in the middle. I know it was a big hit for the band and so
it's important that they play it. People who are casual fans (and let's not
kid ourselves, the casual fans are the ones that really fill the venue)
probably don't recognize it as a JAE number because the radio version never
featured him and they definitely didn't play a post-1996 live version that
often.

I wasn't angry at the Who for playing 5:15, mainly because of the
abovementioned reasons. But I didn't really enjoy the number. I was more
sad than anything else through it, because I knew that the moment I was
waiting for was never going to arrive. Again, can't fault them for playing
it as it's one of the numbers people really want to hear, but it was just my
one really sad moment of the show.
