I agree with the latter statement.  This is what, IMHO, makes I'm free such a 
tremendous song: two versions, almost equally good, that are almost polar 
opposites studio to live.  I love Roger's vocals and the acoustic solo from 
Pete in the studio version, and I love Roger's near screams of "i'm free" and 
the driving power chords and electric soloing from pete live.  I really wish 
this song would be played more like the IOW version.  The hard sound fires me 
up.
