CD sales

CNN reports a Jupiter Research survey that shows online music users
reported an increase in their spending on cds due to their online
activities, and suggested that record companies are blaming online
services and ignoring the effects of their strategies on music sales
i.e. reliance on a few highly promoted hit records for their income.

Previously, Jupiter has reported a drop in cd sales around college
campuses.
