RE: America the good neighbor

Greg,

Horse poop back to you mate! We're still paying for arms n money loaned to
us under the Lend Lease scheme. And, if my memory is correct we gave you,
the USA, the Bahamas in return for four mouldy old destroyers. Anyway,
Greg, I honestly don't give a flying shit if your right or I'm right. We
can both use history to prove OUR personal arguements etc, etc. This is all
just too fucking insane / pathetic / trivial for me.............. ("it's
also worth telling you that both my father and uncle who served in WWII were
of the opinion that the Yanks came along when they were needed and NOT when
they were wanted, to me that's a big fucking diffence). Enuff of all this
tittle tattle, let's just get on with life, our lives, views, our views and
remember how we managed to come across one another......because of four yobs
from west London!!

Horse poop Nigel! Japan would have done something to us well before then as
we stood in their way with their designs for the Co-east Asia Prosperity
Sphere.

Read the book "Day Of Decit" and see how FDR layed out an eight point plan
to
coerce Japan into attacking us - which they followed to the letter and did
attack us!

The fact that the American industrial base started on a war footing in 1940,
with a large amount of that production going to Britain, and that the draft
went back into effect near that time, shows that American leadership could
indeed smell the roses.
