RE: European Who Merch

No shops to recommend as such if you're looking for "unofficial stuff" i.e
boots etc. But, check out Record Collector, the magazine, for Record Fairs
where, occassionally, you'll find good stalls with stuff on them. Also
check out Camden Lock Market (take the underground, the Northern Line, the
black one on the map) to Camden and follow the crowd. There's sort of three
to five seperate markets spread around and some of these have stalls selling
boots / memorabilia etc, etc. Only open on Saturday & Sundays and it gets
very, very, very crowded. Recently picked up video boot of The Who @ The
Empire, Shephards Bush Dec 22nd '99, v.good sound quality.

For shops check out Portabella Rd, there's a couple of really good ones,
Vinyl Experience - there's also a funky street market there at the w/ends as
well, nearest tube is Ladbroke Grove or Nottinghill Gate, the yellow, green
or purple underground lines. It's very, very trendy around there more so
than Camden, which is trendy enough anyway.

Subject: European Who Merch

Hello All.

I've been on the list for a while but haven't been able to interact...

A little change of pace from the Beatles vs. Who debate.

I'm going to Europe in 2 weeks ( London, Amsterdam, Paris ) and I was
wondering if anyone knew of some shops
that may have some cool stuff..be it Who related, Clash etc....

Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated..
