Concert for NYC (condensed version)

The Who opened with "Baba O'Riley." Editing was slightly different,
including more crowd scenes and a few different shots of The Who. One
great shot of John's bass technique this time. "Baba O'Riley" was also
used as the theme for the show, and played at the ad breaks. Here's
the line-up:

The Who - "Baba O'Riley"
Billy Crystal - intro
Bon Jovi - "Dead or Alive"
Shots from Spike Lee short film
Susan Sarandon
Operaman (edited - no Who)
Bill Clinton
James Taylor - "Fire and Rain"
Meg Ryan
Elton John and Billy Joel - Hmmm?
Hilary Swank
Five for Fighting - "Superman"
Jim Carrey
Paul McCartney - "Yesterday"
Finale (all) - "Let It Be"

Items of interest: Michael Jackson made an appearance after all. He
bought an ad.

The finale included several shots of Roger, but NONE of Pete. Heheh.
Somehow I suspected there wouldn't be. Macca's supposed to be the
star, after all. ;)
