This is why I love the Who.  They could have gone mainstream and played it 
safe with toned down studio stuff, but they took major chances and operated 
in uncharted waters, outside the mainstream and sacrificed millions of 
dollars in the end.  They hit big with Tommy and Who's Next, but ultimately 
could have sold out, made less important music, but much more money.  I 
greatly respect their loyalty to the music.  Incidentally, I love Pete as 
much as anyone, but the Who songs he wrote that were "changed" are definitely 
better than his solo stuff.  Sorry.  Maybe I'll have to get Psychoderelict to 
make a better comparison.  Is it worth getting?
