The US government (and NY government) has appropriated mucho cash to help 
those left behind and will do more.  One thing the benefits do that no 
government payout could accomplish is it gives citizens and celebrities the 
chance to take personal action to help their fellow humans.  Whether it is 
writing a check or showing up in NY to party together, it is important to 
act not just as a taxpayer/voter, but as an individual.
