Arm-chair producers & engineers.  Like yelling at the T.V. when your
favorite football teams runs a play you don't agree with.

Interestingly, when one of those audiophiles claimed to have "fixed" a 
recent Who release (BTTB, I think) someone asked if he'd be willing to
set up a trading tree so all could hear his stunning repair job.

The audiophile declined saying he couldn't trust the various CD burners 
that would be involved to capture the full "corrected" sound range he had 
so laboriously acheived.

Odd that.
