Attention: Beatle Bashers

Imagine that you look at a Beatles newsgroup and see
this;
"the Who sucked most of the time anyway. They never
had anything worth a crap since Rough Boys and isn't
Pete Townshend a fag anyway? He said so in an
interview. That windmill thing and tearing up the
drumkit was all they ever had, and they obviously
stole that stuff from Jimi Hendrix."
WELL, this is what most of the Beatles bashing posts
look like on our little Who newsgroup. It is
embarrassing to see otherwise good folks wearing their
ignorance and prejudice so proudly.
And as for Ringo - Billy Cobham, Miles Davis, Bob
Marley, Stewart Copeland, Roland Kirk and Max Weinberg
make up a short list of the A+ musicians that have
gushed in print about the subtle genius and (here's
that word) innovation in Ringo's work.
