Here's an interesting article from maybe 1996 (when did RealAudio 2
come out?) that perhaps mentions the incident where Pete got the ideas
that got him booed off a lecture stage about that same time.  Since
this appears to be only about five years old, it's curious to see which
of the predictions are coming true now.  Obviously Hammond's off on the
cost of music downloads.  From TED's pricing, artists will resist
reducing the economic worth of the music, plus maybe they feel they
have to make an allowance for "theft" the same as retailers.
