OK, then that makes this the only Pete song I know of where John takes
the lead.

Yeah, yeah, they alternate singing in "Helpless Dancer" when performed
live, but that's only because its the only way to bring off the song.  I
don't consider that "singing the lead", its like backing vocals when the
lead singer is grabbing his breath.  "Singing the lead" to me means that
you sing the whole song, not just bits where Roger needs to catch his
breath or backing vocals on the chorus.
