kid stuff

ML "I can't see it...The Who were never about children, with the
possible exception of some of their weaker songs like Happy Jack. But
more than anything else, lyrically and musically, they were about
tension, frustration and unresolved anger."

Good kid's literature and music is not necessarily about kids. How about
a musical version of "Cat in the Hat"? It contains all 3 themes that you
mention and the lyrics are great. All Pete would have to do is lay down
some melodies.

All kidding aside. This type of discussion is good because we really
don't know what Pete has up his sleeve. We do know he has some ideas and
would likely want to part from the traditional Who themes vessels. It is
very healthy for the hardcore Who fan to consider the possibilities of
seeing The Who outside of their tradional box.

If Pete (with or without The Who) puts something together that is
fantastic on its own terms, shouldn't we applaud even though it's nothing
like Tommy, LAL, Quad and WN?
