David, Montrose dead? Last I saw he just released Gamma4 in December from
his web-site www.Ronnieland.com. Unless something happenned recently, he is
living in the SF Bay Area and releasing music from his web site.
Metaphorically, you could say he has been musically dead, but I have always
been a big supporter of Ronnie. Had the pleasure of seeing him perfrom a
variety of times, met him at his studio, and have enjoyed much if the
instrumental music he has made since the 80s. So, tell me it ain't so, that
is not want I wanted to hear, I gotta right to know - do you have some
recent news on his death?

PS. Add Roy Buchanan to the death toll - hung himself in a local prison
after being stopped for something like a DUI. Tragedy, he was a GREAT
guitar player - played the shit out of the telecaster.
