Re: question about the netherlands boot



They were having trouble with the sound in general.  Melissa Etheridge had 
no mike at all for a while.

When Roger first started to sing "Who Are You" (on the broadcast), you could 
hardly hear him, but he moved in closer and cranked up the volume by the 
second line.  John and Pete are nearly inaudible for most of "Who Are You," 
but seemed to turn up between songs, as they sounded fine on "Baba"--but 
Roger was still screaming.  Looks like it was pretty well fixed by "Won't 
Get Fooled Again."

At the finale, Pete's mike did the Melissa Etheridge trick--no sound.
